The primary aim of this project was to create a pharmacy management system that streamlines medication refill requests for patients and enables pharmacies to efficiently authorize these requests and also manage orders and inventory on their online shop. RxOnWeb encompasses both client-facing interfaces and an internal management portal.

During the prototyping and testing phase, we utilized a combination of JavaScript, HTML, and Bubble to develop an MVP. Through rigorous evaluation and feedback collection, we uncovered usability concerns, navigational hurdles, and performance optimizations. This invaluable insight guided iterative improvements, ensuring that the final design would resonate with users and meet the project's objectives effectively. By embracing a systematic approach, we laid a solid foundation for the complete design of RxOnWeb's website, ensuring its efficacy and usability in real-world scenarios.

The final design was implemented primarily on Bubble with a bit of coding to allow the implementation of certain features. At its core, RxOnWeb allows patients to request medication refills directly from their pharmacies through the platform. Pharmacies can then review and approve these refill requests, offering patients the option for delivery or in-store pickup. Moreover, pharmacies have the capability to integrate an online shop within the system, expanding their reach and providing customers with convenient access to additional products.

By prioritizing functionality and user experience, RxOnWeb enhances the efficiency of medication management for both patients and pharmacies, fostering seamless transactions and improving overall healthcare accessibility. A key learning point for me during the development of this product was addressing privacy issues in the handling of sensitive data in Bubble.
